About Kibo Eyecare

Kibo is the larger and main peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro, a place special to Dr. Cartwright where he spent several years in the Peace Corps, met his wife, and many life-long friends. Loosely translated, Kibo means greatness and inspires our approach of providing you with premium eye care every visit. The practice was originally founded in Glastonbury by Dr. Lindower in 2006. Dr. Cartwright took over in late 2021 and the practice became Kibo Eyecare formally in May 2023.
